Velcro at wrist and middle palm works well as straps Velcro changes direction through loop on splint. This does a pretty good job of preventing it from sliding up or down. A similar Meuller clamp serves the same function for the tip of the thumb loop to keep it in place. This brace does not have one, so any movement of the thumb during normal use will cause the strap to fall off the thumb, rendering the brace completely useless. I bought it because Muller has a sore skin on the side of his thumb. , and hoped it would be softer and less annoying. It's there but doesn't stay in place so not worth the money.
