Using KIS/Kaspersky for Vulnerability Checking
I like that it's easy to use, has lots of features for finding vulnerabilities & bugs with ease! It can be used online or locally but requires an internet connection which slows down speed at times when you don't need this functionality (like while using your computer).
If there are any issues within my system i have no way other than contacting customer service - they're not always quick as we would expect them too so if possible get some help from someone who knows how these programs work before hand otherwise its difficult trying figure things out without knowing exactly what needs fixing first time round!! Finding new ways / methods around getting patches etc done quickly/easily through attack flow makes life easier especially during emergencies where staff aren’t available 24hrs 7 days per week.
- How helpful is in spotting security threats
- The level 2 user guide gives step by steps instructions helps learn quicker about program capabilities+ Can do basic vulnerability scans + Patch Management = very pleased overall :)Cons;
- Not good enough support options provided once problems occur.i'd prefer better phone access instead email only..it seems slow sometimes.
