‌This Zooawa Baby Carrier Newborn to Toddler is a very well made baby carrier with a large fanny pack type seat to hold several handy items. It is not quite as easy to put a baby into as some other carriers I've used, especially when used on the back.It is only ergonomically correct for the baby using it in certain ways and at certain ages. For a newborn, up to several months, you can really only use it with the baby facing you. Otherwise their face gets covered by the top of the front. They must sit high enough above the top of the front, so that their head is well above it for them to be safe and comfortable.Also, it's not easy to put the baby into and wear on your back when you're by yourself. In fact, it's quite difficult, and maybe a bit dangerous, so be sure to be sitting on a sofa or other soft seat with plenty of room, just in case. You also cannot get the baby situated easily when using it on your back.I don't think I would ever wear the fanny pack portion with just the belt around the baby. The velcro is strong, but it just seems too risky to me. If you don't plan to be hands-free, and will be holding the baby with at least one hand at all times, it may work well for some. I just don't feel that comfortable with it.This is a very nicely made baby carrier, but there are a lot of limitations as to how you can use it, depending on the size of your baby. It is well made, the stitching is very nice and secure, and it has the ability to hold much-needed items in the family pack type seat.Even though I would like to be able to more easily use it in front or back, as well as front and back facing, no matter my baby's size, I still think it is a nice carrier that will grow with your baby. I would recommend it!
