Review on Water cooling system for Corsair H80i v2 processor by Paul Gim ᠌

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

There is something to compare, I will say that this is probably the best one-section dropsy on the market. First, there is no water noise as such. Secondly, these are temperatures, they are very pleasing, I will not name them, everyone has their own assembly, but I will say that they are much lower than on my last dropsy at the same noise level. And thirdly, thoughtful wiring: one cable comes straight from the water block with two fan connectors at the end, you don’t need to look for precious connectors on the motherboard, or buy splitters, but here it’s done. There are also disadvantages. The main one is completely oak hoses, which is why their placement in a compact case is hell, you have to bend them with great effort, it’s already scary that the water block can tear out a piece of the motherboard. This is a very strange decision, given that the dropsy is single-section, which means it is suitable for compact assemblies. Illumination dims. There are no settings, all you can choose is one color, no effects, nothing. The fans are mediocre, flimsy, bend when you install them, there are no anti-vibration pads, in short, , but at the same time they give out more power, but they whistle at the maximum (a conditional drawback, they have such a maximum that you will never turn it on). With all the shortcomings, the purchase is satisfied, I recommend.

Pros
  • - Excellent temperatures - Very convenient wiring - Absolutely silent pump, no water noise
Cons
  • - Oak hoses that are very difficult to bend - Very poor backlighting capabilities (one color, no effects) - Fans of mediocre quality - Price relative to competitors - Large dimensions, not every case will fit
