Installed and works great! Please note this took me 2 1/2 hours and I have experience installing ICs in 360 controllers as well as replacing controller LEDs. Whoever makes the installation video is a soldering wizard, they pretended it was a 30 minute task. I ended up following the paper instructions because I was installing them on the original Xbox 1 controller, but they were more than detailed enough to help me. The most difficult contact points: the power and sync buttons. I'm not sure if it was solder or just an awkward place to solder, but that gave me the most trouble. A hairline and you're connecting two dots that shouldn't have been connected. It's safe to say that if you don't have experience soldering something on a small scale like this, you're going to have a harder time. Be patient and most importantly, make sure each connection point is secure. The last thing either of us wants is to install it only to find that it doesn't work and now we have to open the controller again and start over to find the error. Once again a great product and a great guide.
