This case was an instant disappointment. I practically had to pry open the plastic clasps to open it and slip our iPad inside. Not a very good start. Then when we actually got it on the iPad, there was a press next to the power button that kept activating the "swipe to turn off" prompt whenever we were using the iPad. It's designed to mimic the design of the Otterbox Defender, but save yourself the headache and skip this one. When we tried to remove the case, it took a screwdriver to adjust it and we actually broke the case trying to remove it. With our other cases we have never had this and have erased them intermittently over the past 7 years without issue. Maybe the quality isn't the case, but I wouldn't risk it again.
