Review on Nooa Waterproof Barber Styling Cape by Kitty Jenkins

I got this because I have a dialysis catheter on my chest and I can't get it wet. I needed shampoo and conditioner so I bought this one. Luckily I had the foresight to place a plastic cap under and over the catheter. Washing your shampoo at the barber's with your head tilted back might work, but washing your hair at the sink with your head tilted forward won't keep you completely dry. Cons: 1. It doesn't cover your back. So if you lean forward, the epaulettes will fall forward and allow water to seep underneath.2. The velcro at the neck is not tight enough. I tried to tighten the velcro as tight as possible but it just isn't tight enough to prevent water from seeping through the neck area! 3. Since this is not a full back cloak, it can fly anywhere. I used a waist belt to try and hold this cape in place. Despite this, he moves a lot and moves everywhere. It's just not very safe when you need to avoid contact with water. I got really wet and when I took off my raincoat I found the plastic underneath was really wet. The second plastic (from a dry cleaning bag) really kept my catheter from getting wet. I have a feeling it could definitely fit better. Like I said, I needed double coats to stay dry. So keep a backup. The material is truly waterproof; this is bad design.
