Heavy duty cable, ideal for everyday headphone use and easy to store by simply rolling it up and tossing it in your bag. I had trouble finding budget alternatives to the ATH-m50x cables. I learned that you can remove the "locking" mechanism in the headphone jack and then use a 2.5" male to 3.5" female adapter. The headphone jack sticks out a little more than usual for this reason, so the 3.5 inch plug was PERFECT at 90 degrees to ensure it's still very useful. MANY cables you come across have durability issues. Manufacturers have to compete on prices and user ratings, resulting in stiff competition for a strong cable that is cheap and strong enough to keep customers very happy. This applies to 3.5mm cables as well as iPhone charging cables or whatever. This cable has worked well where many fail. I highly recommend this particular cable and I don't like it.
