Well thought out: teaching and learning

Price a bit high but you get a puzzle (letters fall out) and a drawing board. The part I really love (and my 3 year old is too small for it) is where he shows you how to turn a letter into an animal (and the animal's name starts with that letter). I think this is best for 3-4 year olds but my 7 year old girl loved playing with this at school with my 3 year old and thought animal drawing was cute too. My son (3 years) LOVES to walk with it on his back. We've had it for a few days and he often picks it up. Here's the part that I think is really well thought out: It's very hard to take out the letters. I know it seems counterintuitive, but it means they aren't flying around everywhere and you can pass the toy to a crazy 3-year-old without losing all the letters (because even with the letters inside, you can click on them to hear sound ). letter sounds). It really takes a parent (or older sister) to pull them out. I took off a star because the screen has no backlight, it's hard to see and the price is high (I'll bet it will drop to twenty by the holidays). Luckily the toy came with batteries. Hooray CHECHARKA!
