Although the coasters are metal, they feel fragile. Mine arrived warped so none of the coasters are on the table. With a drink on top or anything heavy, it won't be noticeable. There is a small cork backing but the metal wraps around the cork so care must be taken when using to avoid scratching the surfaces. The print is good, the design is clear. The entire stand has a satin finish, so don't expect a shiny metallic color or a paper-like matte finish. I don't know how long they will last over time. As a gift for Potter fans, it would be nice to add them to your collection of themed items. It bears the trademark Wizarding World. Makes a good stocking for its price.
