I had an old laptop under my bed for several years that I didn't want to throw away, especially after hearing all the stories about hard drives being stolen from recycling compendiums of personal data. Getting the lost replacement power plug was the cheapest way to boot up the machine and properly erase everything before donating my laptop. Everything was neatly packaged, a cable with plug was included, everything came quickly.
