Two coasters come neatly packaged in a flat box with screw on legs. To my disappointment, the first one connected without any problems, the second had problems. One of the legs was crooked at the joint, meaning the hole drilled to screw it to the base didn't fit. It was deflected about 1/4 inch. I had to manually try to bend it back into place with the two pieces welded together. In the end I was able to assemble it without damaging the part, but I'm surprised that no quality control was done before packaging. Maybe there wasn't. Otherwise, the stands are sturdy, a good size, and work well.
