The hat is too big for the child
Gloves and scarf are fine; They fit my 5 year old perfectly which made me happy as the gloves are always a little big for him but they were nice and snug and no frills on the fingers. The hat looks like it could be an adult size XXL. Even folded it's too big for a child - my son's head and face gets lost in it if he manages not to fall off; it's too big even for an adult, and frankly, it looks silly anyway. Besides being the same material and color, it doesn't appear to belong to the set.
