Before I put this on my dash I tried to place it. When your phone is in the mount, it's pointed so far up into the sky that you can't see the screen. When you make a video call, the other person cannot see you. The magnet should protrude beyond the base. Also, there isn't much space on my dashboard other than the top, which you can't see on the screen. Bad design and the magnet wasn't as strong as they say.
