I have limited counter space and wanted to avoid another large item, e.g. B. a huge/ugly fruit bowl, so this basket was perfect. I don't like my bananas getting crushed by metal, so I put them on the top wooden surface where the rest of the fruit and some veggies stay in the basket. It is very durable and very easy to clean. Installation is not required. looks expensive and expensive - a different kind of modern look. The receiving hole is large enough to move items and take out fruits/vegetables. I just love it! Definitely worth your money!
