Bought this for my coffee station in the corner of my kitchen. I use it to store my kcups and to store my tea and sugar jars. It is of very good quality and worth every penny. I'll buy another one for fruit and veg.

Update: Got a replacement for the broken original part and it's great! As expected, good wood finishes, metal is nice and solid. Looks beautiful on the kitchen table. Original: broken on arrival; The product appears to be good and the size is as expected, however the packaging was insufficient to ensure safe and undamaged arrival.

Overall a really nice thick basket with lots of space. A small disadvantage of the wooden top is the opening: it is a bit small (especially for big hands)). It also glides easily on some surfaces. Little rubberized feet would fix all those little things.

I've been looking for a basket for our kitchen to store onions, garlic, etc. in for a few days. When I came across this basket I really liked what it looked like on the internet and liked the fact that we could stash our Google Home on top. Our basket had no defects when it arrived and the wood looks even better. It's big and appears to be very durable. All in all very happy with this purchase!

The tree above was damaged in transit. This will make the corners look crumpled. and so I was wondering if it was some kind of wood on a piece of plywood or something and not an actual solid piece of wood. I got this in hopes of being able to store some of our fruit/veg in it and have storage space on top of that and it's perfect for those needs. It's just big enough to hold a large number of items without taking up too much counter space. And on top there is enough space for another small storage space. I had to decide which damaged page to show. With a big nick from the corner or with 4 obvious spots. If I paid $20 for this piece, I could live with that, but at the $40 price point, this type of damage is unacceptable. It appears that the damage occurred prior to shipment (the packaging it came in was in perfect condition) and repairs were attempted prior to shipment to me.
