Review on 🧡 Beadsmith Metal Bead Loom Kit with Thread, Needles, and 18g Glass Beads - Ideal for Bracelets, Necklaces, Belts, and More! by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for beginners.

This beading loom works well but the rollers are a little cumbersome due to their simple yet awkward design. Also, buyers should be aware that there really aren't enough beads out there to make much of. Buy one of the 10/0 beads in different colors. The spacing between the warp threads is perfect for 8/0 beads, which I am very fond of working with as I age. I just ordered a giant version of this loom to make wider 8/0 beadwork. Due to the low price I don't think you can find a better deal to try beadwork. Buying a few books on the subject is also helpful. The instructions are really minimal. I recommend the following three books for the breadth and depth of their illustrations and instructions. They all give you lots of inspirational design patterns and useful technique tips. - Native American Beadwork Techniques, September 15, 2008, Scott Sutton - North American Indian Beadwork Patterns, January 16, 1996, Pamela Stanley-Milner - American Indian Beadwork (beadwork books), December 1, 1995 Ben Hunt and JF "Buck" Bershear's Beading is a relaxing creative activity.
