I bet the first thing you think when you order a makeup mirror is "I really, REALLY want a mirror that will distort the shape of my face and make me look wavy and all" Good news! This is the mirror for you. Let me start with the great and serious aspect of this mirror: It's lightweight. Therefore, it's portable. It makes it easy to throw in your makeup bag/backpack. Or: the Down stairs/trash can.I couldn't get past the mirror.By the way, the mirror hangs from a plastic boom which is almost impossible to maneuver. It doesn't bend, it just sucks.I was afraid it would break trying to crease and unfold. And then... my God - I looked at my reflection. This little one has all the features left of a laughing mirror maker. A wavy reflection? Yes. M features that have suddenly morphed into giant or small versions of themselves? To verify. Frightened, I rushed to another REGULAR mirror to make sure I looked normal (I mean, at least as normal as I can look). And yes, the problem is the mirror of this TATU makeup mirror. I'm not sure anyone can get flawless makeup with this mirror. Instead, at your next Zoom meeting, you can look like you're in a red-nosed car and about to be traveling with twenty-seven of your closest friends. SO! is the world terrible? Well, actually no, it's not. The light connects to the computer via a USB port, and the cord is quite long. The light alternates between three different lighting settings and can get brighter and dimmer. It appears to have a soft yellow border; a bright, neutral setting; and a "daytime" setting that's said to mimic the sun outdoors. The whole thing is wobbly and looks cheap. I can't imagine you would expect anything heavy for the price, but when I tried to adjust this mirror at a low angle it went all the way down. You have to be careful how you position it. The pink plastic reminds me of everything I bought when I was younger, except it's extra large now and doesn't have the name "Barbie" written in front of it. I cannot recommend it highly. If you need an almost disposable mirror/lamp for yourself, this might be the way to go. Otherwise a tough pass.
