Review on AAXA LED Pocket-Sized Portable Video Projector KP-101-01 - Mini HDMI, Built-in Media Player & Speakers, 3.5mm Aux Out, Micro SD/USB Readers, 80 Min Lithium-Ion Battery by Jesus Baker

So first I have to report that this is my second computer as the first one failed due to aaxa tech support. It didn't recognize the connection to any device, but Amazon's amazing return policy allowed me to easily exchange it for a new one. Other than that, aaxa's customer support was excellent. Michael was very nice, patient and helped me connect the right cables and troubleshoot. The second was very easy, plug and play and works great! Michael emailed me the cables to connect to my phone and MacBook. So beware buyers, in addition to this project you will need additional cables, one for your phone, one for your MacBook and an HDMI cable, all of which are available from Amazon. I also got a $15 table tripod which is way better than the gooseneck clamp, see photo for picture - much sturdier and easy to set up! There's not much to learn about using the projector itself, it's almost self-explanatory, but there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you need further guidance. A super helpful tip Michael told me was that you should plug the power cord (to charge it) into the device and connect BOTH USBs! I only had one USB port plugged in and even after 5 hours the red light never turned green to indicate a full charge. With both USBs plugged in, it turned green after a few hours. A lot of reviewers said the battery life wasn't the best, so I'm wondering if that was the problem and people just didn't fully charge it? If you are using this for movies I would recommend an additional audio source/speaker as it is not the best. But if it's just in a small room, the built-in speaker will be fine. but if you like the volume or the overlay of other sounds around you, it may not be enough. The lighting/projection itself also works during the day and you can find a wall of shadows. Overall I am very impressed with this projector at an amazing price! It's better than paying $200+ for it! I also bought a 4 year protection plan, at $11 that seems like a cheap price for something that might not last 4 years, that's a long time! .I'm just saying'! Definitely highly recommended!
