I used this to add a USB port to my 2014 FJ Cruiser. I had no issues with it dangling in the fuse box, in fact it was quite difficult to remove when I decided to change the fuse from a 10 to a 7.5. I bought various mini fuses as the ones that came with them looked a bit cheap. It was easy to crimp onto my hot wire and install, that's the point. I'd say they seem pretty good and economical for general use. I would recommend them to people who don't want to mess around with their car's stock wiring, are new to wiring and/or just want it. I used a test lamp to find the hot side of the empty fuse slot and then installed the appropriate fuse. Please note that when adding a fuse to a location that is already in use, two fuses are required to add a fuse: one for the new accessory and one for the old one. If the fuse slot was empty, you can only use one fuse for the new accessory. If this sounds outside of your comprehension, or you are unsure of the orientation or position of the fuses, I recommend a quick Google search to learn how to properly add a fuse. It's really quite a simple concept that will guarantee you a successful installation the first time. 👍
