Review on πŸ‘ž Waterproof Chameleon Access Gunsmoke Boys' Shoes and Boots by Merrell: Durability for Any Adventure by Jeff Talcott

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Definitely NOT waterproof

Update: My son's feet got wet from playing in the wet grass and that was after he sprayed the shoes with waterproof spray. I was pleasantly surprised that the shoes look more purple/less purple in real life. I like closure. The fit is a little snug than I expected, especially after carefully measuring and re-measuring my son's foot using Merrel's sizing chart. A size 13/13.5 will NEVER fit - it's a size 2 and they will grow until the end of the season. I don't know if I can put thick socks in either. I'm skeptical about the waterproofing after reading the reviews carefully, but we'll see. Overall the shoes are good and look good but a bit stiff. I would hate to pay more than the $53 I shelled out.

Pros
  • Very comfortable, suitable for all terrain and all weather conditions. These shoes are my son's favorites!
Cons
  • May not provide enough ankle support for some children
