Review on ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Silver Wickman Stainless Steel Polished Wick Trimmer - Enhance Your Candle Experience with Supreme Quality by Kristen Green

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too short for hurricane/tall pitcher/lantern candles, but good for short ones.

My mom has a Yankee Candle wick knife which is very useful, especially compared to scissors because the knife is flat and angled about 90 degrees to the handle. Got this as a Prime member as it was about the same price but no shipping like the Yankee. They are very similar - both are engraved with nice detail, both are stainless steel, both are easy to use. There are only two downsides, but they are major - 1. The cutter is at a slanted angle, not at right angles, so it doesn't hit the wax directly and doesn't cut straight like the Yankees. The latter leaves a neatly trimmed wick about 1/8-1/4" long (ideal wick length) and allows for easy trimming. 2. The handle is 2.25 inches shorter (approximately) than my mom's, which means that it's useless. for what I bought it for - to cut the wicks of candles in jars when they've burned down to the ground. I can't reach the wicks and I have many candles left. The odd angle of the Messers make things worse as you have to try to tilt the handle and only the tip (which doesn't actually cut) is the lowest point Its lowest point is the bottom center of the knife where the blade cuts best i sent it back to get one like hers.

Cons
