Completely disappointed. . . Not recommended!

I was glad to get the M1 Mini, so after reading some great reviews about the Satechi hub, I bought it before realizing that its functionality was limited. While it looks very nice, fits the Mini perfectly, and has some great features, it lacks basic features compared to other products on the market. design doesn't even have enough power to charge my devices. It's just a data hub and I don't transfer much data. So it's useless. (I didn't see that info anywhere in their product presentation. I guess I should have known from the title?) I should have looked more closely because I need this feature when I want to commit to one of the very limited number of ports. available for this node. When I emailed the company to confirm this, they tried to sell me two more chargers for $75. Serious? $150 if I hate it? No way. I can't find anything unique about it. While it has a reasonable transfer function, the same can be said for every other product of its kind available. A punch in the teeth for most people is the fact that there is no disk space option/expansion. I understand that the usefulness of a concentrator depends on individual needs. I should have looked more closely. But I'm not sure why anyone would buy this when several other manufacturers are already offering an updated, much better version. It's a flop, it's already hanging in the closet with another one. Trouble is, I haven't even used it. Spring. Lesson learned. Now it's better to find.
