I wasted so much time looking for a plastic free product. It seemed to me that I would never find my own French press. Until I discovered that plastic tools become harmful when used to stir hot drinks. I chose this French Press because it has a double stainless steel lid! Most of them are made of plastic, and this time the plastic is exposed to high temperatures. The spoon is only for measuring the coffee. A stainless steel spoon is used for mixing! The set is superb, it has everything you need: 4 filter screens, spoons, a coffee book and step-by-step photo instructions. In the meantime, making coffee has become a ritual that I enjoy doing every day! I love my product!
