The dead computer is now a new computer

I am a grandmother in my 60's and I love electronics. My 2012 Mac Desktop 27" hard drive failed. The Apple Store confirmed this. I bought this kit. I read every review, watched every video and read every guide. It took me 2.5 hours on Friday night to replace my hard drive booting up the operating system and reinstalling Microsoft Office. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Don't be afraid to try it. It can be done.
