Review on πŸ“ Magnum-1000 Digital Jewelry Pocket Scale - High Precision 1000g x 0.1g by Jason Flippen

not very accurate: envelopes, letterboxes and shipping materials

I bought my first Magnum 1000 digital scale at a local tobacconist to use for rolling tobacco and thought it was perfect so I decided to buy another one online here at Amazon. For some weird reason it's not that accurate, don't ask me why. Sometimes I fill the tray and as the total weight increases it stops at a certain weight, I can add more and it just stays there. If I completely remove and reinsert the tray, the overall weight increases. I usually try 0.8 grams of total tobacco and while I'm stuffing it can stop at 6 grams, then I take it off and put it back on and now it's 10 grams. hm I can't believe it. the other not? maybe i'm stupid Who knows, the other one works fine. would i recommend it? Kill or skip this one, you decide, the price is right online, I paid $19.95 at the tobacconist so it's cheaper here. Port Freight is exactly the same order of magnitude at $9.99.
