Floating ceramic tourmaline plates help prevent damage.

That helped my daughter a lot! Her hair still looks pretty, but it was nice to see it sleek and shiny! She has long, thick, wavy hair and spent half the time straightening her hair as usual. I had to do some research to find out why tourmaline plates are better for your hair than ceramic plates. Tourmaline is basically a crystal that is crushed and poured into ceramic plates. Ceramic plates with tourmaline better protect hair from damage. Tourmaline neutralizes ions that cause static electricity. This is a huge plus when straightening hair. At these high temperatures, I'm all for avoiding damage and static electricity as much as possible. Now let's talk about floating plates. The floating plates help move with the hair without tugging or tugging. They adjust to the thickness of the section of your hair you are straightening and adjust to get closer to your strands of hair. So add tourmaline to floating ceramic plates and you have a winning straightener/hair straightener combo. My daughter likes the large plates as they help speed up the smoothing process. She was more than impressed with the speed at which the device heats up. In less than a minute you can start working! 360 degree turning deserves special attention. I may have never bought an actual hair straightener for her, but this one is fantastic. Nobody wants to deal with getting tangled in a cable. She liked the feel and the grip. She felt it was easy to hold and "sure she wouldn't burn herself". It's nice to see that she doesn't have to spend an hour straightening her hair with her former 1-inch flat iron. We loved the device!
