No range improvement

This "upgrade" was purchased to increase the range of the remote control. Unfortunately this is a waste of money. I attached it to a post with a clean, unobstructed passage either side of the gate. It can't increase the remote control range at all compared to the original tiny Mighty Mule antenna.
