My wife bought her oil container from Pampered Chef or Tupperware or something. To be honest this one worked a little better because it was made for west coast oil and I live on the west coast. But he went on a hike and never returned home. I could never find it online again, so I chose it as a replacement. I like to keep butter in the cupboard above the toaster and this is great for that. Even if we take oil on a hike, I like to keep it in the fridge, especially on a hot day. This one is great because it doesn't let water through. Pros: * Good tight container seal * Wide enough to fit West Coast oil pens. Long enough that you can add another stick when the first one is almost done.* The rim around the edge holds the butterstick in place but is low enough to be easily reached with a knife* The transparent top cap lets the eye see how it's doing lots of oil left over * looks good enough to put on the dining table. No, it's not fine china, but it looks good.* The price is good for it. If you can find it locally it's probably cheaper but still a good deal. Cons: * Being on the west coast, it takes a little longer than necessary. Not a big deal, but takes up a little more space.
