Functional and durable

My cat knocked a glass butter dish off the counter. Luckily I heard it break and ran away before she ate the buttered shards of glass. I had to replace it with non-glass and a good sealer. She would open it, she could open anything, but at least it wouldn't hurt her. These aren't the pretty plates I like on my desk, but I do have pretty ones and I needed a butter dish that was good for everyday use. This is a great choice at a reasonable price. If you use a lot of oil, it's best to leave it on…

Pros
  • Serving set
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Fits US Eastern and Western sized buttersticks.

The main thing I wanted was a butter dish that could hold the thicker, larger, western sized US buttersticks and they fit! They're also long enough to easily accommodate Eastern US sizes, but the rim of the tray, the bottom, takes up a bit more room than I'd like as I needed as little extra material as possible due to the limited space in my fridge. The parts fit together well and provide an almost hermetic seal for oil freshness. The only downside is that the oil is well below the sidewalls…

Great replacement for Oiler

My wife bought her oil container from Pampered Chef or Tupperware or something. To be honest this one worked a little better because it was made for west coast oil and I live on the west coast. But he went on a hike and never returned home. I could never find it online again, so I chose it as a replacement. I like to keep butter in the cupboard above the toaster and this is great for that. Even if we take oil on a hike, I like to keep it in the fridge, especially on a hot day. This one is great

Pros
  • Oiler
Cons
  • Requires outlet
