I wore this with a black petticoat purchased on ebay, and it was perfect for my event.I carry my weight in my stomach and waist area, but this material is on the stiffer/firmer side so it's very forgiving. It doesn't show every lump and bump like thinner fabrics.I YouTubed how to tie a beautiful bow for the sash that it comes with it.The only issues were that 1) it is a little too loose in the chest for me. 2) there is this weird bump on the fabric on my left hip where the seams meet. It wasn't a big deal the night of my event, but it annoyed me to see a bubble. I used the sash to hide it as best I could.Regardless, I love this dress and felt amazing it. I accessorized with pearls, black pumps and a silver clutch.
