Good Price Satin Sheets

I had my doubts about these sheets and some bad reviews but decided to take a chance and take a chance. At such a low price I thought they were poorly made. But to my surprise these are quite good economy class bedding. I bought them to get through the summer heat when you don't want anything to touch you and make you even hotter. These leaves did the job. When I first opened the package I was disappointed with the stitching along the edges of the sheets/pillowcases. The stitch is quite wide making them a bit cheap. I also wondered if an open seam would survive multiple washes. I was tempted to just return them and get a refund but given the low price I decided to take a chance and give it a try. I'm glad I did. They looked great after washing and ironing. (Yes, ironing sheets is a lot of work, but check out the results in the photo I posted. It's worth it in my book.) As mentioned, the sheets sleep well and I don't overheat at all. They're slick and some reviewers complain that everything slides off the bed, but that's not a problem for me because I use them in the summer, so I don't wear duvets and duvets. And I personally like their suppleness - it's a lot easier to toss and turn in bed with them on. Plus they iron well, don't wrinkle, and tumble dry *really* fast (less than 15 minutes). On a clothesline outside for about an hour. Cons: They're prone to snagging, like all satin (and silk, for that matter). And my cats definitely left their mark after a few days. But I knew from the start this was going to be a problem, so I now have a light blanket at the foot of the bed for them to sleep in, which greatly reduces tangles. And yes, the ceiling sometimes slips off. With cats on it (always fun!) Some reviewers complain that their toenails get caught on the sheets. But for me it wasn't a problem. I don't know what gnarly hobbit legs these reviewers have, but I wouldn't blame the sheets for that. Maybe cut your nails from time to time and smear your feet with lotion. In terms of durability, I've washed and dried the sheets 5 times and the seams and edges look good. So now I can say that they are holding up well. For the price I think these sheets are great, at least for my purposes. These aren't the sheets I open when the queen comes, but they're comfortable enough that I won't get upset if they fall apart after a season. If there are too many handles, I might recycle them into trendy cat pillows.
