My observations: kitchen and dining room

, I wanted to give this an honest review as most people write their reviews after a fill and just assume it works because they feel their last fill has less foam. I have a Kegco kegerator, calibrate my system and have a tower fan to eliminate those "first fill" issues. In the summer months, you can always expect some additional foaming. The fit is pretty good and the overall construction feels very solid. The top of the tower cooler doesn't sit quite right, which isn't that big of a problem, but it's not perfect. There's just excess fabric that collects at the bottom of my tower, but again, that's not a big problem. The Velcro on the front is a bit problematic. The thickness of the velcro and turret cover pushes my pallet off the turret to the point where it barely seats properly under both cocks. I agree with other reviewers that the velcro closure on the back makes the entire product more aesthetically pleasing and alleviates most of the issues I encounter. Does the poured beer become less foamy? Not really in my tests (with a tower cooler/fan). If you don't have a tower cooler, this might be a cheaper or simpler alternative for you, but the changes aren't enough to justify either. Does it reduce potential heat loss by using both? Maybe. Whether it generally reduces foam formation is unlikely.
