Review on Recessed Lighting 6 Inch With Junction Box by Zach Peterson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Dimming, poor quality junction boxes

I have installed three brands of downlights so far and this is by far the lowest quality. Junction boxes are so thin that it is impossible to punch holes for cable access without bending out of the box. I ended up only bending half of the bar instead of removing it entirely to prevent the box from fully bending. On the plus side, they do black out properly and look nice and sleek when installed. And the unit price when buying in pack of 12 is very cheap. If they last a few years I'll be happy. One final note: 5k color temperature is very, very daylight. So if you want some warmth, use a lower Kelvin.
