It's incredibly quiet! I use this in my bedroom at night when drying in PNW. After about 6 months of daily use, I accidentally broke one of the plugs inside the humidifier while cleaning it. When I contacted Homech customer service they offered to replace the entire device for free as the manufacturer gives a 1 year warranty. Brilliant! I'm one of those people who wake up in the morning with a dry mouth and need water right away. Using this device at night changed the game! Highly recommended!
