Works great - cables and connections

Good for connecting my canon t5i via ethernet cable. I connected two 12ft ethernet cables to a coupler and used this USB extension cable so I could have the camera in another room while connected to my laptop. &lt;EDIT&gt; Two days later the device stopped working. Tried several network cables, no connection. My camera works with a regular USB 2 cable, so it's not a camera, but the network cables worked the first few days I used them.
