I have bought either plastic hand soap dispensers or glass/ceramic soap dispensers from national brand stores for a number of years and none of them can match the quality of the Vine Creations soap dispensers that I have recently purchased have . I prefer a metal pump but everything I've bought so far has been rusty. I would have saved these pumps by trying to de-rust them as much as possible, but they left discoloration and a crust on the rust. Vine Creations states that they are rust resistant and after just a week of use I'm sure these pumps live up to that claim. I love the look of the amber glass and copper pump I bought. It complements the honey-colored maple in my kitchen, so I keep one of two dispensers near the kitchen sink filled with hand soap. The other is in one of my bathrooms. Both are aesthetically pleasing. The plastic tube inside the dispenser reaches to the bottom so no soap is left behind when the level gets low. Please be patient when using your pump for the first time. It needs to be primed. Just give it a few pumps and soon it will spread evenly. Overall these dispensers are of very good quality which is a refreshing difference from others I have purchased. I definitely recommend buying them; they are fabulous!
