Over the years I've bought way too many individual brushes and brush sets. Most of them were good, some were great, but this little set is definitely the best! Bought 3 sets last year. Not because they're worn out, but because I can't get enough! I'm an artist who needs to apply quite heavy makeup for a stage and these brushes allow me to cover my entire eye including my brows with just three basic brushes. The small shader is the perfect size and rigidity to allow me to create a sharp and detailed crease, yet flexible enough that I can blend multiple shades in a single gradient. A small angled brush is essential to any makeup kit and this one fits right in. I've used at least one set of mine religiously for several months and the small angled brush has held up like a champ. Although this is the brush I use the least, the flat brush is my favorite. I use it to create the final sharp details that unify the look. The firm bristle line creates an incredibly sharp and precise line. I use it to add fine detail to my brows and bring out the crease. While these three brushes will never replace an entire set of brushes, they will completely change the way you apply makeup!
