Cheaply made, which is good, but may require some repairs or modifications before a satisfactory installation.

I like it, it looks like it will do the job. I bought this for the laundry room in our apartment building where we had problems with people breaking open and drilling into our washing machines or pulling out coin drawers. We regularly clear neighborhoods, but the cost of repairs far outweighs the amount they steal. I thought this product would be a good deterrent. I love the look of the fake camera lens in the bubble. I don't use LEDs, they don't exist in real cameras anymore. Installing in the drywall was easy, although the two mounting screws were studded, so I had to use screws other than the ones supplied (the supplied screws aren't long enough to cut into the studs, and the supplied drywall anchors don't fit). does not work where there is a hairpin). However, there are some quality control issues. The product is made of cheap plastic that breaks very easily. That in itself is good; There's no reason to use expensive bait material as long as it looks convincing, which it does. However, the fake part of the lens was factory glued into the intended hole in the blister using hot glue, and the glue didn't stick - it was loose when the product arrived. I had to take it apart and reattach it with super glue (which seemed to work fine). But when I reassembled it I couldn't figure out how to align the screw holes. It seemed that the slots in the clear plastic element didn't line up no matter how I rotated it. I still don't know how it was originally. I had to snap off the protrusions of the clear plastic with needle nose pliers to fit the screws in their holes as I knew it was very brittle and tried not to break more than I wanted. Luckily I was able to assemble it quite well. It was a rattle of sorts - anyone who touched it immediately moved the bubble. So I used tape in the pivot braces to take up extra space and make it more durable. At least it seems good. Time will tell how well this works as a deterrent. The included decal is quite large: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". As long as you have a good place to put it, this is a very good warning.
