I love 3D movies/content but one of the biggest issues is that 3D glasses can be uncomfortable compared to prescription glasses, whether at the cinema or at home. I hesitated a bit about buying them, but in the end I'm glad I did! The first thing you'll notice is that they're a lot larger than most boxed 3D glasses (for 3D TVs) - which is great for a number of reasons: It fits well with most glasses (unless you're wearing BIG glasses, they should fit). Plus, the wider coverage prevents ambient light from interfering with what you're watching. Unlike most rechargeable 3D glasses, they use watch-sized batteries (thankfully 3 batteries are included - 1 installed and 2 spares). The CR2032 battery is rated for 100 hours (for comparison, my PANASONIC 3D glasses use rechargeable batteries (USB powered) which last 30 hours on a 2 hour charge). It's hard to say which is better. Love the idea with rechargeable batteries (if your CR2032 batteries are dead you're unlikely to find a few lying around after the original 3 are included in the box. With rechargeable batteries you can plug them in for a few minutes around have enough power to watch a 2 hour movie). Luckily, batteries are very cheap - all you have to do is get them as they're not the usual household batteries that most people have extra. What is nice is that the glasses are compatible with all types of 3D TVs (Sony, Panasonic, LG (only compatible with IR models), Philips, Mitsubishi (with compatible emitter), Samsung (only compatible with IR models), Sharp , Toshiba, Sony LCOS Projectors, JVC LCOS Projectors, Mitsubishi LCOS Projectors, Sony VAIO F 3D Laptop, HP ENVY 17 3D Series Laptop) and XPAND 3D Cinemas (if you wish to bring your own glasses). It works like this: you press and hold the power button for a few seconds, put it into programming mode, and then press it again (short) to set the TV type you want (indicated by a series of flashes - 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5 or 6), then you are done. Once installed, it remembers the type of TV it was programmed for, so you only have to go into programming mode again if you use a different type of TV. It's also worth noting that it only works with IR (infrared) 3D signals. - Some new TVs use Bluetooth and will NOT work. Also included in the pack are 3 attachments (to find the most comfortable fit) and a soft microfiber pouch. The case is okay, but nowhere near as good as the kind of hard case that comes with Panasonic 3D glasses. I found it worked very well on my Panasonic TV, only losing sync when I turned my head all the way to the side. If you look back at the TV, the signal returns very quickly. They are lightweight and generally quite comfortable. I could watch several films with them. A big disappointment is that the 3 pairs I bought each had lenses with some imperfections - 1 had minor scratches, 2 had abrasions (as if they had been cleaned with something they weren't supposed to have). I returned 1 and left the rest. I haven't noticed any issues using it, but others might (I specifically checked for label-related issues). However, it is disappointing that they came out of the box brand new. In general they work very well, they are convenient and cheap. I have mixed feelings about the battery life, and the multi-TV compatibility doesn't get me anything (but if you have a SONY TV and a Panasonic, for example, this is a cheap way to "kill two birds with one stone". beat". universal pair). I can say with confidence that the Panasonic 3D glasses I have have become glasses for guests and I use them for myself!
