Review on πŸͺ‘ Enhance Office Comfort with Office Star Ergonomic Knee Chair: Casters, Memory Foam, Espresso Wood Base in Black by Christine Sanchez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too big to comfortably use with a standard size table, but very comfortable.

Very good quality chair. The foam padding has evolved a lot over the years, but there's a problem with the chair: it's just too tall, and at its lowest setting, it's 4 inches too tall to sit comfortably at a standard-size table. Other kneeling chairs I've had have been a lot lower, but this one, wow, is tall. Now I'm looking almost straight down while typing, and my forearms aren't even close to the desk. I tilted the monitor. The screens are flipped up and I need to find a small box to put my keyboard on so I can type reasonably normally. As far as I can tell, there is no way to lower the chair further, which appears to be the lowest setting. Because of the height, I feel like I'm falling forward when I lean forward to raise the keyboard to a usable height. Since the frame is wood I think I can just drill two new anchor holes where the current ones are and that effectively lowers the seat without changing the knee height of the pad. This color is called espresso. It's black for you and me. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. It comes with two long hex bolts and a hex key. You will need a second hex wrench to keep these pins from turning when tightening one side. Overall good quality components, pathetic seat height.
