I bought this for my 10 year old new tablet. He throws the old one away every day so the otter seemed like a good choice. I chose this one because it came with a screen protector and the pictures represented the stand. The suitcase is disassembled into approx. 4-5 parts. The protective film is glued to the piece along some edges. When it arrived, I immediately installed the tablet. I then tried to register the tablet, but to do this I had to see the back of the tablet. Then it was necessary to disassemble the case; which then leave fingerprints on both sides of the screen protector. I was afraid that it would peel off because I held it in my hands unnecessarily, but everything is fine with the protective film. It just shakes a little (maybe the thickness of the protective film is loose) which may bother me, but my kid loves it. The stand is built into a kind of "lid”. The cover can - be placed on the top or bottom of the tablet or not used at all. I assume that my child will soon lose this cap. So I could buy a cheaper version, which is exactly the case - maybe even a different brand - and add a screen protector to the screen itself for a tighter fit. as I have done for all of our other tablets/phones. I like the Otterbox's protection.
