Weaver Leather Slow Feed Hay Horses Review

I have tried almost every slow feeding net. This is my favorite for the durability and the white rope seems insignificant but makes filling/hanging the bag that much easier! My first lasted about 8 months of daily use before my mare suffered a hole - I've had the last one for the longest time.

Very nice hay net. I've bought several and I would definitely buy this one again. I measured the holes, they are 2 inches, I was hoping they would be 1 inch, but that's not listed in the ad. Really good hay net. I bought two blue and purple. So far, so good. They seem to be holding up better than others I've bought.

Wow. I just got this for my overweight asses. Got it today, put in a few flakes of mixed hay and straw and went straight to the point. I try to relieve them. I've never used this before, so let's see how it works. I'll come back later and see what happens. UPDATE: Very happy with the quality. Durable and easy to use. Made from heavy materials.

I was trying to find small hay nets that I ordered a few years ago. The picture looks the same as the ones I have but they are not the same. The material is strong, but the 2" holes are probably larger. I need new hay nets so will keep them but am very disappointed with the size of the holes. The size of the holes is not specified in the description.

It's so great for the price! We don't stop our horses every night but due to the extreme cold we've had for weeks lately we've been bringing our boys in every night. We ordered these hay nets for the boxes. They were easy to hang, easy to fill, and the horses loved hay every night. We've only been using them for a couple of weeks, but they don't show any wear yet. For the price they are exactly what we needed and I couldn't ask for anything better!

In wet weather we use feeding nets for all our llamas and goats. REALLY reduces hay waste. I like that because the drawstring is white so it's much easier to see when you fill the bag and want to shake off the hay and seal it. Very strong. I've only been using it for a week but I LOVE it. It seems HEAVY as others have said and my mare has definitely curbed her voracious appetite. I used the lid of a large plastic bin to make loading the hay easier - untie the net rope at the bottom - slide the bin lid (which holds the net open) - place the hay on top of the bin lid then remove the lid. Through no fault of the bag I quickly realized that it doesn't work for goats. I thought they would be great for helping the goats not waste so much hay but an hour after I threw them away I heard the goat scream and its leg got stuck in the pocket. All of this was wrapped in a web. I picked it up to stop them and later that day another goat got its horns stuck. I took them off at that moment and gave them to a friend with horses. Goats are a nuisance and pretty dumb so it's not the sacks fault
