I bought these headbands to be a more eco-friendly alternative to disposable shower caps to use while conditioning my hair. I put my wet hair in one of these and then wrap it in a hair towel. For what I needed to use them for, they work well. I love that when I use them I don't throw away plastic caps after one use. But here's the thing: They shrink VERY much if you forget to dry them after washing. And let's be honest - that's probably what most of us would do, right? So they are cute and functional, but unpretentious when washing. I use mine on damp hair so it's not a big deal if it shrinks. But when my hair is dry, it definitely doesn't fit. I also think that at the current price of $28.99 they are overpriced for what they are. They are simply single-layer fabric hats with a swirl glued to the front. So for me it's ok. You satisfy my need. They are cute and functional. But they require special care that I am guaranteed to forget, they are flimsy and quite expensive.
