Yes, it plays 1080p videos with no problems. Yes, 128GB microSD cards are supported. I mainly use it as a media player and in that regard it's just great. The processor is definitely an upgrade over last year's model; there is no noticeable lag. I haven't tried any graphics-intensive games, but video playback is fine. This unit plays everything I put into it, including files that my 2013 model had trouble with. The speakers are very loud and of good quality for a device of this size. The screen is excellent. With expandable storage, this tablet is perfect for my purposes. The overall fit and finish is what I expected from a much more expensive tablet. The 2013 model was great for the price but felt like it was budget. The screen in particular felt more plasticky, while this one looks a lot like Gorilla Glass (not sure if that's true or not). The device doesn't look cheap at all. Absolutely outstanding value for money. My search for the perfect handheld film camera is over. If you're looking for something to watch movies that works with everything you have and has expandable storage of up to 128GB without hitting your wallet heavily, this is for you. the ones you want
