I mainly use it as a media player and it's fantastic in that regard

Yes, it plays 1080p videos with no problems. Yes, 128GB microSD cards are supported. I mainly use it as a media player and in that regard it's just great. The processor is definitely an upgrade over last year's model; there is no noticeable lag. I haven't tried any graphics-intensive games, but video playback is fine. This unit plays everything I put into it, including files that my 2013 model had trouble with. The speakers are very loud and of good quality for a device of this size. The screen

BUYER ALERT - KNOWN CHARGING ISSUE

I bought this device to replace Notepad 7. The problem was not with the battery, but with the plug itself. I bought this in January 2016 and am already having the same problem with it. It's now mid-March 2016 so I've only had it 2 months and it's stopped charging properly. I can still get it to charge, but ONLY if I manipulate the cable in a certain position and don't touch it while charging. I have contacted ASUS regarding their warranty and am still waiting for a response from them, but my…

While Samsung has better specs, it also costs twice as much as Asus, which is why I bought Asus. I have to say that I am very satisfied with the MeMo Pad 8. It's a lot lighter and faster than my old 10 inch Samsung, so I've found myself carrying it around more often. The only thing that bothered me when I first turned on the Asus was that the…

Great tablet for portable entertainment.

I've had a tablet for a year now. I have no complaints. I'm not a super tech and wanted something to entertain me that is portable and won't break the bank. I use this tablet for simple games like solitaire, crosswords, plants vs zombies. I read books on it, watch Netflix, and surf the web with ease. The 8 inch size is perfect for me as I can easily toss it in my bag. I don't use it as a camera or MP3 player, in my opinion if you want fantastic pictures or sound you should use a real camera or…
