I have to admit I had my doubts about this stand. I was almost certain that my TV would wobble helplessly on this stand and eventually crash to the floor due to poor choice of materials or design flaws. But I was wrong. This is actually a very solid and well-made stand! The steel feels strong, the walls of the box section are nil. The quality of the materials couldn't be better in my opinion. The booth is obviously well designed. Attention to detail is evident in everything from assembly to the finished look of the stand. The logo on the front of the stand is very thin. There aren't that many claims. Although I understand *why* things are the way they are and believe me I think it's brilliant. I can't come up with this stuff, so yeah. At the same time, coming together is quite difficult if you take your time. Follow the directions, don't overtighten everything the first time, and you'll be fine. Be sure to check again after some use (a few days to a week I think is reasonable) and tighten any hardware that may have come loose from use or movement. One more thing and it's picky so I don't even consider it a negative but there aren't any cable attachment points or anything like that in the body of the stand. I've added some Command Strip cable clips to help and it seems to be holding up pretty well so far.
