Advantages: price, small, bright, strong suction cup, remote sensor on the transformer, not hidden in the aquarium, black instead of white, easy to use, larger angle options with the original due to the position of the sensor, no sharp edges. Cons: chord could be a bit longer (about 36 inches), white RGB color instead of dedicated white LED, inability to daisy chain on the same remote. These lights are great. I have one of the original white ceramic versions of this light and I like it, but it is too big and difficult to hide to use in many places in my aquarium. of your aquarium and can still use the remote control. The lights are really small, about 1.5 x 1.5 inches. Very easy to hide in the tank. The only problem I have is that the white light is RGB and not a white LED, so you can see 3 different colors in white mode. It would also be nice to have a longer string for those with larger tanks looking for a bottom mount, but overall this is a fantastic product. The build quality is great, no sharp edges that could hurt fish during psychotic episodes and no little hiding spots. Overall, this is a great overhaul of a great product, making it more flexible and less intrusive. And they are cheaper. Well done Chinese well done.
