The greatest thing is removing the calloused Microplane leg plane. Comparing the two (I've been using the Microplane callus remover for over a decade and it still works well), this one has thinner metal and less ergonomic grip. So far Topway is working just as well as my Microplane. And that means the blades of the grid (can you call them "blades"?) are just as sharp. It remains to be seen how sharp Topwey blades will wear down over time? Given the difference in price, it doesn't matter if the Topway wears out in less time. In addition, two additional, very nifty tools for fine-tuning and smoothing the work of the largest rasp are included. Two smaller grinding and polishing tools are also made of metal. Imagine the holes of the largest rasp being made tiny and hard and getting closer and closer together. The metal acts like sandpaper. It's amazing how small piercings adhere, grind and polish on metal. The strange thing for me is this: all three pens have different styles, shapes, finishes. I would give this set a 1 if it weren't for the fact that the plastic looks cheap and black and all three pens are different. Appearance is not appealing. If the designers had spent more time perfecting the pens I would consider this set a gift. But as it is, the set just doesn't look high quality.
