First of all, these are some of the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. They are soft, keep your feet warm and, at least for me, even get a little wet without getting too cold. They have worked great on hikes and I've even started using them daily. A few months after purchase, they began to wear out, and then holes appeared in the heel of the sock. This is common for me, but I usually have to wear socks for at least a year before they wear out. I bought them in February and at the moment I only have 2 pairs that are not worn. As amazing and comfortable as they are, I'm not sure I would buy them again.
